Marcelo is a designer specializing in brand identity, editorial, packaging, and environmental design. His work blends innovative thinking with meticulous craftsmanship across a diverse range of clients in the corporate, cultural, and non-profit sectors.

Marcelo’s body of work has been recognized both nationally and internationally, earning accolades from Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, London International Awards, Type Directors Club, Communication Arts, Epica Awards, ADCC, Applied Arts, RGD, and the Marketing Awards, among others.

An active voice in the Canadian design community, Marcelo has served as a juror for various national competitions. He is also a design educator, dedicated to mentoring the next generation of creatives. He currently teaches Typography and Information Design at York University.
